  I am the product of two very beautiful Mediterranian, Islands, Sicily and Sardinia. Although, I was born in Brooklyn, New York, I truly feel my ties and my heart longs to visit Italy as much as I can. My parents met while my American born father, the adventurist of his 7 siblings, was vacationing in Italy. His passion for the sea and scuba diving led him to the stupendous Island of Sardegna where he fell head over heals in love with the Island but also with a red haired, green-eyed Goddess, later to become my mother. Needless to say, he returned to New York 9 months later, married to my mother and they were expecting their first child (Me). I have a younger brother and sister. Although my mother has a nice singing voice, I attribute my love of music to God and to my father. He was the real music man in the family. He was a great latin dancer and taught me how to dance musica latina and he loved the Big Band Sound. At a very young age my family knew that I would be on stage because I loved to dance and pretend that I was one of the dancers on TV. Every Sunday I danced for my Siciliana Nonna, Francesca, she invited the family over for Sunday Dinner and I entertained. My father free-lanced at a neighborhood bar and on Saturday afternoons he would dress me in pretty frilly dress, but unbeknownst to my mother he would take me to the bar, put the Juke Box on and I would dance and sing for all his friends. My father claims that they tipped me even back then. I had a wonderful childhood filled with love, family and wonderful music.
